In November 2022 Housemartin investors purchased Park Lane #167. It was yet another example of the vital role that the investors on the platform play in providing homes to vulnerable people in our society. As the following short video explains, our partner, Halo Housing Association, presented the site to the Local Authority Commissioner and Alternative Futures Group , who agreed to its development owing to its central location in Macclesfield, access to convenience stores and good transport links. The property was specifically designed and built to support individuals transitioning from long-term care, with each occupant having their own front door to foster a sense of home. The building is modern and efficient and thereby keeps costs low, whilst at the same time maximising light and providing comfort.
The purchase freed up funds for the developer to then create further homes for vulnerable people. Meanwhile the property has delivered a yield of 6.4%.
